At the new patient consultation you will have an office tour and meet with the treatment coordinator and doctor. The doctor will conduct an examination and discuss a treatment plan and determine length of treatment. In most cases, the patient will leave the office with an understanding of their treatment plan, length of treatment, cost of treatment, and payment options. There is no charge for the initial consultation.
We see patients of all ages in our office. We feel that early orthodontic evaluation is always beneficial to the patient. Dr. Spillane practices a conservative approach to orthodontics; sometimes early interceptive treatment is required, sometimes it is not. Often young patients will be placed on "recall" where we will monitor their progress every six months to a year until they are ready to begin orthodontic treatment.
